Charles Reyes
Charles “Lumpy” Reyes is a San Angelo musician who gained notoriety as a member of Bugota, a band he co-founded with his childhood friend Jerrod Thomas. Although they achieved some local success, the band eventually parted ways, leaving Reyes unsure of his next move. He soon found his footing again in a collaboration with local singer Tiffany Gonzales, forming the group Unspoken, which later became Tiffany and The Lump. The band has continued to release new music and play gigs regularly, even though Gonzales has moved to Austin. Reyes has also started two country music projects, one with Allyson Walter of Southern Blend and another with The Tequila Brothers backing up Whiskey Mike Lovell. Despite his varied musical endeavors, Reyes remains focused on entertaining audiences with live shows. He credits his fellow musicians with adding the necessary flair to their performances and says he is fortunate to have such a great support system. With several EPs under his belt, Reyes is grateful for his musical journey and hopes to keep playing for as long as he can.
