Lyndsey Buchanan

From: Abilene, TX
As Lyndsey Buchanan likes to say, “It’s fitting that my parents found love in Abilene’s Cactus Moon honky-tonk because Texas music venues have literally been my home away from home all my life.”
Raised in Anson, Texas, Lyndsey treasures memories of working alongside her father on a cattle ranch. “I’m a country girl bred, born and raised,” says Lyndsey. “I’ve got the values and work ethic West Texas teaches you and I’m grateful for the heart and soul my childhood’s given me.”
At the age of 11, Lyndsey taught herself to play on an old pawnshop guitar. By the age of 13, she was writing songs and at 15, landed her first paying gig. Lyndsey intended to pursue music as a career but financial stability necessitated sacrificing her dream.
The past ten years have brought Lyndsey full circle. “It’s a new beginning for me,” she says. “I’m grateful for the journey life has taken me on and for the support I now have to pursue music full-time.”
Lyndsey Buchanan makes her bold return to the Texas music scene with the release of her second single “Wild Eyes” and a return to the honky-tonk and festival stages she loves.
