South of Mayhem is a rowdy, hard-rockin’ Texas Country Band based in Abilene. As they like to say, “We’re not necessarily boot-scootin’, but we’re definitely boot-stompin’.” That’s not to say, however, that they don’t have some dancin’ tunes in their set arsenal, along with some heartfelt ballads and love songs from their catalog of originals.

In addition to playing some of West Texas’ most noteworthy honky-tonks, festivals, and fairs, South of Mayhem has shared the stage with notable acts such as Jackson Taylor, Neal McCoy, and Parker McCollum.

All of the band members have past associations with great musicians and bands, including Ray Price, Don Williams, Tracy Lawrence, Kevin Fowler, Jason Boland, Reckless Kelly, Jackson Taylor, Ginny Mitchel, Jaron Bell, One Trick Pony, Shattered Glass, 3D, Renegade, Morpheus, Cory Bivens, Under Cover, and Love is Blind. It’s their collective experience, showmanship, and talent that set the stage for South of Mayhem’s performances.
